RestoreMD FAQ
Our unique practice is led by a board-certified internal medicine physician with additional training in lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine. We take care of everything a traditional primary care doctor does, but with a much more in-depth, holistic approach.
Patients join our practice because they want a compassionate doctor who is accessible, listens carefully, and focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of health concerns- not just treating symptoms. They also value our strong emphasis on wellness, prevention, and longevity.
Some patients are seeking more thoughtful, individualized care for complex or unique medical issues that are often not well supported in the traditional, reactive healthcare model. Others are drawn by the exceptional convenience, access, and personalized experience typically associated with a concierge-style practice.
Our Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice provides concierge-level access to your physician, including direct communication by text, phone, or email, same-day or rapid appointments for urgent concerns, and longer, more personalized visits.
Unlike many concierge practices that still bill insurance and require copays and deductibles, our practice does not bill insurance for covered services. Patients typically continue to use their insurance for services outside our office, such as specialist care, labs, imaging, or hospital-based services.
As members of a DPC network, we’re also able to offer significantly discounted laboratory testing and wholesale medication pricing — savings that are often not available through traditional concierge or insurance-based practices.
Dr Rogers specializes in internal medicine, lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine. Her holistic patient-centered approach is to address root causes of chronic conditions, supporting long-term health and longevity, and minimizing medications when possible. However, she is not a naturopath or functional medicine doctor, and does recommend and prescribes medications when they are appropriate and evidence-based.
We do not bill insurance directly for our services
If you have insurance, you can use it for:
Lab work
Imaging and diagnostic tests
Specialist visits
Hospital services
We help guide you on how to use your insurance effectively alongside your membership.
Simply put, great insurance doesn't guarantee great care or access. In the insurance-based world, many patients experience the frustration of long wait-times, rushed visits and having to block hours off your day just to get in to see the doctor. This is because insurance forces doctors to have large patient panels (2000-3000 patients) and see 20-30 patients a day.
Our care model allows us to:
Schedule 60min + visits with each patient
Get patients scheduled in a timely fashion
Offer personalized, high-quality care with a focus on prevention and longevity
This approach simply wouldn’t be possible if we billed insurance.
We accept payment for the membership fee via debit card, credit card, or ACH transfer. Many HSA/FSA plans do cover DPC membership fees, but coverage varies so please check with your employer benefits administrator or HSA plan for specific details.
If you have an HMO plan, you may still see Dr. Rogers through our practice. However, due to HMO network requirements, you must also remain assigned to an in-network HMO primary care physician. That in-network PCP will be responsible for submitting certain referrals, authorizations, and test orders that cannot be placed by an out-of-network physician.
Unlike some other concierge practices that require a 1 year commitment, we only require a 3 month minimum membership obligation (+ enrollment fee) , after which patients are free to change their mind anytime.
Certainly! You can join our practice whether you have insurance or not. Your membership fee provides full access to all of our included services. We also offer substantial savings through discounted cash-pay laboratory testing and wholesale medication pricing.
That said, we strongly recommend that all patients maintain at least a basic or catastrophic insurance plan. Our membership is designed to complement insurance coverage, not replace it.
For next steps, head to the contact/enroll page and submit registration. We will be in touch within 1-2 business days with further enrollment information!
